What will God think about this?

If, come Sunday, we're ALL still here, living life on Earth, and it turns out Saturday was a big bunch of bull, will God be angry that his followers wrongly evoked such strong emotions, and some going to the extremes of completely forsaking their lives, families, and jobs, and for possibly causing fear as the 'rapture' spread through the media like wildfire?
