Are their similarities between cocaine and caffeine or other types of mind-altering drugs?

caffeine, adderal and cocaine are all stimulants to the brain... so that can explain the energetic burst. caffeine is addicting, and if you did enough of cocaine, you would become dependant on it. maybe the way the caffeine reacted with the chemicals in your brain gave you that burst. starbucks seems to do this to a lot of people, thats probably why people love it so much :)
