How would you describe this photograph?

True essence of Southern idealism. It could be as enveloping the civil rights movement with deep meaning of the struggle of the times, or the beauty of the Southern woman, be she black or white, it doesn't clarify, but leaves the imagination and openess to one's own creative opinion as I have chosen. Excellent question...provokes much thought. I've never seen this photograph before and I like it...
