Near Death Experiences proven to be lies?

There are a lot of explanations science tries to throw at the NDE phenomenon and the REM intrusion one is not one of the better ones, it has many flaws. I remember listening to an interview with Dr. Jeffery Long where he did a good job dismissing this theory. IMO the only explanation that is worth exploring further is the DMT theory. Although it still falls short in explaining details of some NDEs.
